People often don’t know who to turn to when they find a problem in the city or in a public building — a dangerous pothole, loose wiring, overgrown vegetation, or debris posing a health risk. When they do manage to report it, the request reaches the manager or city hall, which doesn’t know how to prioritize. When it does prioritize, it outsources the work but has no capacity to inspect completion — and payment is still made. The ProPedido® platform is a white-label, fully configurable and flexible environment that primarily acts on the semi-automated detection and management of maintenance demands with employees or users (customers or impacted people) of large infrastructures, supported by AI and using citizen relationship management (CiRM) methods and tools, including mass individualization techniques. The demands are organized and made available in dashboards for infrastructure managers, can be decentralized, and can be automatically routed to teams. The execution of the demand, finally, is optimized and recorded by the service provider (via WhatsApp and procedure-based forms), and AI comes into play again to pre-validate the execution of the maintenance service by image comparison, closing the loop and bringing the response back to the requester and to the manager quickly and consistently, showing attention and social and environmental responsibility. Deployments such as the one in Pedra Branca, in Palhoça (Brazil), have transformed how users and residents of the neighborhood communicate, making logistics easier, reducing service time by more than half, and monitoring the quality of contracted services, in addition to enabling city hall–citizen contact via WhatsApp in compliance with LGPD.
